Why We Diamond-Grind Every Floor

Most of what makes an epoxy floor last, or fail, happens before any color ever goes down. A lot of contractors use acid etching to prep concrete because it's quick and cheap. The problem is that acid etching only lightly roughens the surface, and it can leave a residue that actually weakens the bond. That's a big part of why some epoxy floors start peeling or bubbling within a year or two.

We diamond-grind every floor instead, mechanically grinding the concrete down to a clean, exposed surface using diamond-segmented tooling. It takes more time and better equipment, but it means the epoxy bonds directly into the concrete rather than sitting on a lightly-scuffed surface. If you've had a bad experience with a peeling garage floor before, this is almost always why, and it's the first thing we'd do differently.

What Customers Say

"I couldn’t be happier with the epoxy flooring job done by this company. From the initial consultation to the final finish, the entire process was professional, smooth, and stress-free. The team was punctual, knowledgeable, and paid incredible attention to detail."
Melissa Z
"Great company to work with. They came and looked at the project the same day I called for an estimate. They gave us a cost estimate by the end of the day and the garage floors were completed 2 days later. Excellent service. Cleaned up nicely after the project too. The garage floors look great and I would highly recommend them."
